We are nervously excited to head to Garrick Park to take on competition favourites Cashmere Tech.
We have worked hard this week and know the team will stand strong together, if you read an article, or follow the women’s game, you will know we come in as underdogs, but this team is ready to defy the odds and rewrite the script!
Cash Tech is a formidable opponent, a team that boasts a lot of talented players, with NZ and Canterbury Pride experience, and a long history of success. But our team Is up for the challenge that lies ahead. Tech came into this round off the bye weekend, having previously had 2 large wins to start the season. Our team came in off a win last weekend and is looking to continue what we are working on, the team worked hard this week in the final 3rd play and our defensive structure.
We do have a couple of our starting lineups out this week due to injury and work but this is a great opportunity for others to come in and put their mark on the game and show what they can bring. We will need all the support we can down at Garrick Park to offset the vocal local Tech support.
